About NailSpa Experience

NailSpa Experience is a pioneer in nails salon services. They are one of the uber premium spa and salon for nails and eyelashes. They offer a wide gambit of manicure and pedicure along with other salon services. One of their most sought after services is- candle Therapy Manicure/Pedicure which is an unusually delightful experience just like a beauty therapy. 

Nailspa has recently opened their 4th Salon in Colaba, woodhouse road and invited us over for an experiential service and feedback. I had been working on my computer for long and developed fatigue. After the day long, constant live media engagement at Make In India suggested, I realized that I truly need something to rejuvenate my hand and hopped into their beautiful salon.

The Salon is well located at Colaba woodhouse Road, features a welcoming reception and a cozy retail area equipped with latest equipment and tools. The interior is well defined by chic cream wallpaper with a strong presence of colors like browns, gold & reds accentuated with mahogany wood flooring. The cozy salon is spread over a 400sqft area and is quite classy and comfortable

If you are a working professional and want to beat the fatigue of day long working on the computer, you may like to treat yourself for some pampering at the NailSpa Experience.

My experience

I wanted to rejuvenate my tired fingers and vibe up my nails. The Salon manager recommended me one of their signature manicure services- Wine Manicure to sooth my tired hands. Here are few glimpses of my rendezvous at the NailSpa Experience-

My nails looked and felt clean post the manicure. While it could not tone down the dryness at my elbows, the spa was rich and soothing. Not wanting to spoil my freshly manicured hands, I opted out from nail art. However, I could not resist the temptation after seeing some beautiful nail art designs from their catalog and agreed for simple french nails with a twist.

#BaayaAnnualSales- Go Art Shopping With Baaya Design Studio, Mumbai

India is a melting pot of arts and crafts. During my journey to different parts of the country and my stay there, I have picked up few local arts as memoirs. I love all things handmade, handcrafted or artistically curated. My love for art forms and respect for Indian artisans has taken me to Baaya Design, Lower Parel, Mumbai.

Baaya Design Studio is a flagship store by Shibani Jain that houses around 30 types of artistic work, forms and installations, from the length and breadth of the country. Be it Gond art from Madhya Pradesh, Kalamkari from AP, Mata Ni Pachedi from Gujarat, Scroll Painting from Bengal, Baaya has it all. Not just that, Baaya works in hand in hand philosophy of promoting the Indian art and bring forth the lost occupation of artistry. It helps artists to showcase their work to the world and earn remuneration.

After months of contemplation, I visited their store last Tuesday for a slice of art and off course, decor shopping. The best part is that Baaya is already running an in-store Annual Sales with discounts ranging from 10% to 50%.

I was completely lost for good at the Baaya store amongst the intricately carved, rusticly designed, hand-painted artefacts. The glass lamps, the pretty windchimes, the brass figurines, colorful murals and some splendid, good heart, wood furniture, took my heart away.

Home is where Heart is

I am staying in an Apartment in the heart of Mumbai, Andheri West. When we were selecting apartments to move in, a lot went on the decision. We spent almost 2 months across different lengths and breadth of the city to find that one special abode for self. Not settling for anything less, we finally selected a 2BHK in newly launched Belmonte designed by none other than Architect Hafeez Contractor. We loved the neat work, wooden design, tall glass window walls that open to clear blue skies, even if it meant paying a premium amount. 

It was smaller than my previous house but we kept the design minimal and contemporary. The idea was to make it more liveable and accessible. Our hard work pays when our guests tell us about the positivity/positive vibes they find in our house. I believe #StatementFurniture has a lot to do with it.

We are passionate about our house and wood decor. Our philosophy of "simple living, high thinking and spending for luxury" takes us to different stores in search of buying related furniture and accessories for our house. A lot of time, we love a furniture but have to drop it cause it does not correlate with our existing furniture color either in terms of homogeneity or contrast. Trust me that is very demotivating and tiring.

Apparently, it seems that Asian paints applied some psycho-kinesis with customers like us and read our mind. How? read more to know more ;)
