Unboxing My First India Bliss Box

It was a fine morning when I received a sweet message from the India Bliss Box team on my Instagram inbox. It was a collaboration proposal wherein the brand suggested a probable unboxing.

Having a fervor of trying new things and impressed with sweet nature of the brand team, it was an immediate yes from me.

The deal was sealed and after answering few questionc including the preffered nail paint shade, I got a confirmation mail and my box promptly came after a week.

The box was reecived by my little niece Gaurika who was more excited to open and see the contents inside. The big box had kept her on toe and she urged me to open and show. Happy to see her excitement, I left  my task and together we unboxed this box full of surprises together.

Want to know what have we got inside the box? Read more to know more.

Watch little Gaurika unbox this subscription box in her newly developed Singapore accent and suddenly "shy behind camera" style. It took me a while to shoot and edit but am glad that we did this video.

The Legacy of Argyle Mines

If a diamond is forever…. Its origin should be a legacy of unmatched tribute.

Picture a landscape where temperatures climb towards 45°C, a land that is harsh, unforgiving, difficult to traverse, but bestowed with a mystical beauty that can only be experienced to believed; this is The East Kimberley region of Western Australia; a place of both beauty and great promise; providing the world with the most coveted treasure of all….diamonds.

A Rich & Responsible Heritage
Argyle is located in a wild and sparse landscape, rich in beauty and steeped in culture, although subject to social and economic disadvantage.

The mine sits on the traditional lands of Aboriginal people who are believed to have lived in this region for more than 50,000 years. The Traditional Owners of the mine’s lease area believe that the land and its people were created by the Ngarranggarni, sometimes referred to as The Dreaming, a living belief system that links a person’s day-to-day activities and relationships to the land.

Argyle is using its presence in this landscape to build prospects for local people, including the Traditional Owners who have generously permitted mining to occur on their land.

The Rarest of the Rare- The Argyle Pink Diamond
The Argyle diamond mine was established in the rugged and remote East Kimberley region of Western Australia in 1983. The mine transitioned from open pit to underground mining in 2013 and has a mine life through to around 2021. Today, this modern and technologically sophisticated mining operation is the largest producer of naturally colored diamonds, including Argyle’s signature pink diamonds.

Sought-after by collectors, investors and connoisseurs the world-over, the finest pink stones are retained by Rio Tinto Diamonds, in Perth, where they are cut and polished in Argyle's own facility and sold by international tender. These exquisite signature stones vary from pale pink hues to intense purple, reds and even violets, and command prices up to twenty times that of a white diamond. Each year, Argyle selects the finest of these polished diamonds for the annual Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender, a much-anticipated event on the diamond industry calendar where selected diamond collectors, connoisseurs, and high-net-worth Individuals are invited to bid for the distinctive stones. With pink diamonds comprising less than one percent of Argyle’s annual production, these gems are indeed the rarest of the rare and often fetch record-breaking prices. They are all engraved with a unique microscopic inscription as a permanent record of their birthplace, and indeed a small number will be named, to ensure there is a permanent record of their contribution to the history of the world’s most important diamonds.

Rio Tinto Diamonds
Rio Tinto operates a fully integrated global diamond exploration, mining and sales, and marketing business, with a strong and trusted profile in both established and developing markets. Rio Tinto’s diamonds business comprises some 1,500 people around the world.  Rio Tinto operates diamond mining in remote landscapes where nature takes center stage and centuries-old cultural traditions remain strong.
Since 1983 Argyle has produced more than 800 million carats of rough Diamonds.
Besides the signature Pink Diamonds-  natural and colored diamonds- imbibing shades of seductive champagne, sophisticated cognac, and flaming orange, flow from Argyle; and  have generated not only significant global opportunities for the East Kimberley region of Western Australia; but also the diamond manufacturing centers in Gujarat, India; where a trusted partnership, sees around 250,000 diamond artisans cutting and polishing Argyle’s plentiful gems for the international market.
